We are pleased to release an exciting new design for the Newborn 2020 1/2oz Silver Proof Coin. The coin is a perfect way to celebrate the arrival of a newborn baby, making a gorgeous gift or keepsake.
The coin’s reverse features a newborn baby in a baby carrying sling, with a flying stork and the moon in the background. The inscription ‘CONGRATULATIONS’ and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark are also incorporated into the design.
The coin’s obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, and the 2020 year-date.
The coin is housed in an elaborate themed gift card, with room to write the baby’s details, a family tree and a place to house a photograph.
