The first item of the collection is the “RESURRECTION EGG” made in 1894 in the form of a monstrance which, as later discovered, was a surprise hidden in the “Renaissance Egg”. The upper part of the egg was a bubble made of mountain crystal housing a miniature sculpture which depicts Christ flanked by two angels. The bubble is placed on an elaborately decorated base.
