White Tiger ~ Silver Coin Antique Finish in Case

We are proud to present 2022 White Tiger 2oz Silver Antiqued Coloured Coin, produced by the Perth Mint.

In Eastern mythology, the White Tiger is one of the Four Symbols, legendary creatures that each guard one quarter of the heavens. According to traditional stories, it was destined to appear when the emperor ruled with unquestionable kindness and morality, or whenever there was peace throughout the world.

The coin's reverse portrays a magnificent white tiger climbing among mountainous peaks. The design includes representations of Asian Maple trees with red coloured leaves, signifying autumn, the season associated with metal. Also incorporated in the design are the Chinese characters for 'white tiger'. The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is portrayed on the coin's obverse, which also includes its weight, purity, monetary denomination and 2022 year-date.
